Argentina Wine Awards
This international wine contest took place at the PARK HYATT HOTEL from the 19th to the 22nd of February. During two days, 446 wines were tasted by a prestigious jury, including: Joseph, Peter Richards, Adrian Atkinson, Henri Chapon, Joe Fattorini, Beverly Planning and also recognized local winemakers such as Carlos Tizio from Clos de los Siete, Daniel Pi from Trapiche, Pedro Marchevsky from Dominio del Plata and Roberto de la Mota from Mendel Wines.

9 Trophy prizes were recognized as well as 24 gold medals, 145 silver medals and 199 bronze medals were given as prizes.

By the end of the contest, the critics expressed satisfaction towards the quality of Argentine wines in a context of an extremely demanding market such as the British one.

OMNI
Wines of Argentina in company with OMNI HOTELS from U.S.A. organized a couple of interactive events regarding argentine wine and gastronomy.

Tagged under the name of "The Soumptuous Flavors of Argentina”,some visits of Chefs and Ejective Members of OMNI who traveled to Argentina were organized, as well as events in Atlanta, New York, San Antonio and Washington DC.

Altogether 40 warehouses were selected and 120 wines were tasted by consumers and specialized journalists. The total amount in wine list was 380.
