Hospitality programs
Hospitality is one of the main areas of Wines of Argentina, and its aim is to reinforce the promotion activities that are carried out in the international markets through the organization of reverse missions to our country.
Invited visitors include sommeliers, wine journalists, and reporters writing for travel and leisure, food and economy magazines, as well as wine educators, chefs, buyers, importers and agents. They come from the key markets targeted in Wines of Argentina’s strategic plan.
The profile of our visitors also depends on how mature the market they come from is.
The activities organized by Hospitality are in tune with the knowledge on wine the visitor has. These include different kinds of tastings: by region, by variety, vertical tastings, tastings of non-traditional varieties, etc. In addition, training programs include Seminars on Winemaking Regions and thematic tastings led by winemakers.
All the programs prioritize tastings of wines from all the Argentine wine regions and contact with wineries from different areas, with different production volumes and winemaking methods. The aim is to showcase the diversity of terroirs and people in our country.
Hospitality organizes activities for member and non-member wineries depending on the source of funding.
