Argentine wine, gastronomy and art come together for the dreams of youngsters

Wines of Argentina, the entity responsible for the global promotion of Vino Argentino, and Casa Vigil  are organising "Sharing Vino. Feeding Dreams", a charitable initiative in support of the Volunteer Corps of the Dr. Humberto Notti Pediatric Hospital.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 11th from 7:00 p.m. at Casa Vigil (Videla Aranda 7008, Maipú, Mendoza), thanks to the solid commitment of Dr. Ricardo Diumenjo, the sponsorship of TN CoopersYacopini Official Nissan Dealer, R.Cristal y JumboDiario Los Andes as Media Partner and the institutional support of the AAS and EMETUR. Dulce Boutique, VillavicencioEventbrite, Tankito and Beat’s Bar will also join this initiative. 

The event will have present five rising stars of American cuisine who won the StarChefs contest that awarded the best original recipes paired with Argentine wine. The chefs will cook their recipes with a typically Argentinean approach together with the advice and assistance of prestigious local chefs Sebastián Weigandt, Patricia Roggerone, Gabriel Stivala, Enrique Palacios, Mauro Porfiri, and Santiago Maestre, all under the supervision of host chef Federico Pettit. The dessert table will be in charge of Analía Jakubson (Dulce Boutique).

There will be a wine fair and a bar with signature, wine based cocktails. Attendees will have the chance to taste top quiality wines from Andeluna, Bianchi, Doña Paula, El Enemigo, Luigi Bosca, Melipal, Riglos, Rutini, Susana Balbo, Trapiche and Vicentín. Music will also be present to liven up the night with live performances by the female group Ay Gualicho.

The event will close with an auction of collection bottles that won 90 plus points at the Argentina Wine Awards 2017, the most influential Argentine wine contest in Latin America organised by WofA during the last 11 years, and works by renowned artists from Mendoza such as Osvaldo Chiavazza, Laura Rudman, Leandro Pintos, Cecilia Prato, Renata Würschmidt and Fernando Jereb, with the collaboration of Mandrágora Galería de Arte.

All proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will go to the Volunteer Corps of the Dr. Humberto Notti Pediatric Hospital, a women's association which for the past 50 years has been providing help and support to hospitalised children and their families.
