The second seminar, Going for Gold, was held at the Vancouver Convention Centre and moderated by Anthony Gismondi, known as the most influential wine critic in Canada, who remarked on the diversity of Argentine wines.
Gismondi spoke about the diversity of climates and wine regions in our country, which allows for unique first quality varietal diversity, and encouraged participants to taste the latest Trophy and Gold winners at Argentina Wine Awards 2010.
The varieties presented included sparkling wines, Sauvignon Blanc, Torrontes, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier and several blends by the wineries Cap Vistalba, Doña Paula, Luigi Bosca, Etchart, Santa Ana, Trapiche, Lurton, Finca Flichman, Trivento, Norton, Viña Cobos and O. Fournier.
