The Boston Wine Expo 2012 was a real success for Argentina

This important event took place on January 21 and 22 at the Seaport World Trade Center, Boston, MA. Fifteen wineries participated in the Argentinean Pavilion.

Fifteen wineries were present in the Argentinean Pavilion at the 21st edition of the renewed Boston Wine Expo. Wines of Argentina also had the opportunity to educate members of the trade and consumers through an interesting range of activities.

From the Grand Tasting, with exclusive hours for the trade, to the Vintner’s Dinner at Bambara Restaurant, through a Chef demonstration with a Pinot Noir at the Massachusetts Restaurant Association event, Argentina showed its diversity, quality and passion to wine lovers and wine buyers.

The Boston Wine Expo has established itself as America’s premier wine event and provides the ideal venue to reach the most affluent wine buyers – both in the trade and among consumers.

Participating Wineries:

Achaval Ferrer, Alamos, Argento, Carelli, Clos De Los Siete, Dante Robino, Del Desierto, Diamandes, Escorihuela, Finca Flichman, La Rural, Rutini Wines, Luigi Bosca, Piattelli, Trivento, Viñas De Altura and Zuccardi.

About the Seminar and the Vintner’s Dinner

Fifty people attended the Seminar “Argentina Beyond Malbec: Celebrating the Diversity of Argentina.” The energy at the event was exhilarating: attendees participated actively, asking questions and commenting on the wines. A great experience to learn more about what makes Argentine wine so unique.

In partnership with the Boston Wine Expo, Bambara Restaurant prepared an Argentine-inspired tasting menu paired with Wines of Argentina at the Marlowe Hotel, Cambridge. Eight wineries representing all the Argentine wine regions presented their wines in an informative yet entertaining dinner attended by VIP consumers and members of the trade.
