Argentine Wines Will Participate in the Boston Wine Expo
Los vinos de Argentina estarán presentes durante el 22 y 23 de enero en la feria Boston Wine Expo, que esta vez celebra su 20° aniversario en el mercado.
Wines from Argentina will be on show on January 22 and 23 at the Seaport World Trade Center during a new edition of the Boston Wine Expo, which on this occasion celebrates its 20th anniversary.
The Boston Wine Expo has been described by the publication USA Today as “one of the main wine events in the country.” The event is still today one of the largest and most prestigious wine exhibitions, and it represents the best opportunity to get to both wine connoisseurs and young consumers who are seeking to learn more about wine.
Wines of Argentina will have institutional participation and present 18 wineries and 36 labels. The wines will be displayed on 6 tables shared by 3 wineries each; and each company will present 2 labels. Interested visitors will be assisted by qualified staff hired by WofA. At the previous edition, this type of presentation proved to be very successful and gave the wines a high level of exposure. This year the aim is to go further and present a larger number of labels per winery in order to consolidate brand positioning without losing focus on the institutional image. Other Argentine wineries will also participate in the fair with individual tables.
More than 300 wineries from around the world will be showcasing around 1,000 wines. Attendees will also have the chance to learn about the secrets of wine and food through a great variety of seminars, cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs and dinner receptions with winegrowers.
With 12,000 attending consumers and 3,000 professionals, the Expo offers a marketing opportunity to reach lovers of wine and top-level gastronomy over a whole weekend.
The Boston Wine Expo is a philanthropic endeavor as well, since more than 1,051,400 dollars will be donated to charity. The main beneficiary will be the Summer Program of the floating hospital for children at Tufts Medical Center, which provides a summer camp experience to children with a chronic medical condition, disability or psychosocial issue.
