UK Sommeliers & Restauranters Discover Argentina

As Argentina’s reputation for restaurant friendly wines continues to grow, Imbibe Magazine joins 14 of the UK’s top sommeliers and restaurateurs on a journey from north to south.

Reflecting Argentina’s growing presence in the UK restaurant scene, 2009 has seen visits from 14 of the UK’s top sommeliers and restaurateurs. Designed in conjunction with Imbibe magazine, the UK’s premier publication for ‘on-trade’ professionals, the idea has been to explore the range and diversity of Argentina’s wines through the eyes of some of the most respected figures in the industry.

With three trips spanning Mendoza, Neuquen, Rio Negro, Cafayate and San Juan the groups have had a chance to witness some of our most spectacular and varied winemaking landscapes and meet with over 45 top bodega’s along the way.
