Monica Ralphs, a long-standing business professional in the wine industry in Canada and Senior Partner of WineSpeak, was the co-recipient of the prestigious Award for Best Integrated Marketing Program on behalf of Wines of Argentina in 2010/11 at the Elsie Awards held yesterday in Toronto, Canada.
This industry awards presentation is held annually by the Liquor Control Board of Ontario in recognition of the dedication and commitment of its trade partners in the Ontario market.
The award recognizes a collaborative approach working with the representatives from a competitor wine-producing region, as well as engaging local agents, Argentina-based wine producers and members of the LCBO and Vintages teams to enhance the image and awareness of Argentinean wines to Ontario consumers.
Special mention was made of the very successful tasting event held in March 2011 attracting close to 500 consumers, many of them new to the wines category and creating a wave of excitement around this growing wine segment.
