Winery: MASI TUPUNGATO

MASI TUPUNGATO: ARGENTINIAN SOUL, VENETIAN STYLE Oenological practices developed in the Veneto regarding viticulture, winemaking techniques and wine style can be exported and adapted wherever the natural and cultural location proves to be suitable. This is the philosophy that has lead Masi to Argentina, where excellent results have been obtained in the Tupungato Valley of the Mendoza region. In the "Vigneti La Arboleda" estate, alongside the vineyards of Argentina's flagship grapes, Malbec and Torrontés, other vineyards have been planted with traditional varieties from the Venetian regions and Masi speciality techniques, such as appassimento (laying grapes out to dry) and double fermentation, have been adopted for reds here too, thanks to the favourable climate. Here in Argentina, three wines have been created: Corbec (70% Corvina, 30% Malbec), Passo Doble (70% Malbec, 30% 30% semi-dried Corvina. ) and Passo Blanco (60% Pinot Grigio, 40% Torrontés), they expresses the philosophy of the project in Argentina “Argentinean Nature, Veneto Style” combining the generosity, strength and exuberance of Argentina with the elegance, attractiveness and ready cordiality of the Veneto.
