Winery: BODEGA DOMINGO HERMANOS

Domingo’s Winery is a 100% own family company producing fine and very special wines since 1960 from our 160 hectares of vineyards in the Calchaquies Valley, located between 1.600 and 2.300 meters above sea level, in Salta Province. In these area, one of the best terroirs of Argentina’s fine grapes, Domingo family cultivates Torrontes and Malbec, the flagship grapes of the country, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay and others. The altiplano special micro clime of this high altitude vineyards provide a very intense and high quality sun with more than 300 sunny days a year, extremely dry weather with rainfall average of 150 millimeters/year, sandy soils, and a huge temperature amplitude between days and nights. Thanks that our wines reach the right point of maturity offering a high level of concentration, intense flavors and colors, but a clear identity of the terroir they came from that we protect with a very careful use of new French barrels. Our production capacity of fine wines is around 50.000 cases/year from our own estate.
