Ambassadors program in Wines of Argentina

At the beginning of 2008 Wines of Argentina implemented a program that consists in appointing personalities with outstanding professional background to support, through their activities, the promotion of Argentine wines in key markets. Within the framework of this program Gustavo Santaolalla and Julio Bocca have been appointed Argentine Wine Ambassadors and they currently support Wines of Argentina by attending events such as wine tastings, competitions, fairs, etc.

Gustavo Santaolalla

Gustavo Santaolalla Argentine composer, musician and musical producer, winner of two Academy Awards for Best Original Score for his outstanding compositions for the motion pictures Babel and Brokeback Mountain.

Today he is one of the most popular musicians in Latin America.

EHe participated in the 2008 Argentina Wine Awards and in the 2008 New York Wine Expo, among other events. He and Bajo Fondo, his electronic tango band, join Wines of Argentina in various events, and he also offers his artistic support abroad.

Julio Bocca

Julio Bocca is one of the most prominent Argentine dancers of all times. He founded Ballet Argentino, a renowned ballet company that brings together the best dancers in Argentina. He has performed in the most prestigious companies around the world and danced with world-renowned ballerinas. He is a member of the International Dance Council (CID) UNESCO in Paris, and Vice President of the Julio Bocca Foundation. He participates actively in all events organized by Wines of Argentina, both locally and abroad. He attended the 2009 Argentina Wine Awards Ceremony in Mendoza, and wine tastings in Prague, Moscow and Venezuela, among other events. He has been present at the London Annual Tasting and at other important events organized by Wines of Argentina.
