In 1922 Italian inmigrants Don Dalmacio Armando and his brother Santiago founded their own winery in Mendoza Argentina, called “Armando Brothers”.

The winery had a spectacular amount of different oak barrels, which could be seen from the outside. People started to call it “the winery with the barrels” by nature. This ended in calling the winery “Los Toneles” (The Barrels).

In 2002 the local business group "Millan SA" acquired the winery. Soon began the restoration of facilities.

Los Toneles Winery is equipped with the latest technology for producing different styles of wine in order to satisfy the most demanding markets.

The winery has a capacity of 3.000.000 lts in epoxy cement tanks. There are also stainless steel tanks and french and american oak barrels for aging Premium wines.

Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures and with selected yeasts.
