“Finca La Celia” was established in 1890, after Eugenio Bustos purchased some lands in Valle de Uco and began to build the winery. Afterwards, Celia Bustos, his daughter, inherited the establishment and thanks to her great personality and leadership worked on the land to turn it into profitable vineyards. The Malbec manufactured here is a clear example of the conditions found at Valle de Uco for an excellent winemaking. During 2000, “Finca La Celia” was purchased by San Pedro S.A., a company from the CCU group, leading the beverage business (beer, wine, grape brandy, sodas, nectars, and bottled mineral waters). In this way, the winery was extended, restored, and geared with French and Italian state-of-the-art technology.
